Our History
Superior Art Building Material came about as the parent company of Gemart Glazed Porcelain Tiles. In 2006 love of the arts and extreme respect for the environment brought together a small group who want to create a tile product that could be used to create luxurious spaces without the use of natural stone; Gemart uses the great art works of Dorje Chang Buddha III to bring beauty and restoration to the world with luxurious and bold tile design thus limiting the horrible impact that using natural stone can cause.

In 2008, Gemart’s large format porcelain tiles, backlit art glass and frames were distributed through out the world for use in both commercial and interior projects. Gemart tiles can be seen installed in commercials sites such as the Queens Crossing Building in Flushings New York and the International Art Museum of America’s gift shop in San Francisco in addition to the various Gemart Showrooms located around the world.
